About This Project

We are a creative collective that aim to find out what honesty means to society and if they feel like it is important. We call ourselves the truth seekers and have created a truth booth to help reach the general public and find out what they think. We have a series of questions that we ask the public.

The booth is constructed out of a metal outdoor furniture frame, cardboard, duct tape, fabric and hot glue. This project was chosen because April 30th is National Honesty Day and we wanted to highlight how being honest sometimes fall through the cracks and challenge the idea of being honest - especially in today's society.

Here are the questions we constructed to get a response from the public. We also dressed as "truth seekers" for the project to add a little fun in the mix.

Question 1:
When was a time in your life when you chose to lie instead of be honest? Or when you chose to be honest when you badly wanted to lie?

Question 2:
How is Honesty important in Society?

Question 3:
Explain what limitations honesty should have, if any.

Question 4:
When is a time that society could’ve been more honest with you?  Or lied to you?

Question 5:
Do you consider yourself honest? If so, why?

Question 6:
Name a time when you felt like someone should’ve been more honest with you or vice versa?
